Tamela Wells uses polymer clay and PMC (precious metal clay) to create jewelry which is at once contemporary and timeless. She lives and works in Asheville, North Carolina studio, where she finds inspiration in the natural world right outside her door.
This unique pendant resembles a rock cairn--a symbol of safe passage; it lets you know you're on the right path. The pendant is part of her Pebble Series, with individually hand formed beads, and each color mixed in small batches. Tamela has always loved color, so this series simply represents her love of color mixing and creating subtle tones and textures.
Pendant hangs approximately 3 inches from cord. Rubber cord with sterling clasp; choose either 18 or 20 inch.
Artist statement included.
