This low, wide, soup mug is similar in style and color to Sue Grier's buckets in an old fashioned and yet contemporary way!
Sue Grier lives and works right outside Asheville, North Carolina, where she creates these wonderful ceramic items. Her work is "thrown and altered" meaning she throws the main form on a potter's wheel, and then uses various tools, as well as her hands, to alter the shape into what you see before you!
Approximately 5 ½" in diameter, and 2 ¼" high. Rust-colored glaze on the interior, and lightly dripped over the glossy white exterior.
Microwave and dishwasher safe.
Artist statement included.
