Jean McGrew has been interested in textiles since her grandmother taught her to embroider when she was a little girl. Her talents in weaving include wall hangings, liturgical textiles, and these boxes!
The structure of the box comes from strips of bamboo "dowels" Jean weaves in among the yarn. This little lidded box is made of dark green yarn, white bamboo, and dark green corn beads sewn onto the lid.
3 in. square, 1 1/2 in. high.
