Your gift to the Southern Highland Craft Guild makes a difference!

Did you know that all of our demonstrations, special events and exhibitions are free to the public? Because of generous individuals like you, we are able to offer exciting educational opportunities to adults and children to learn more about the crafts and craftspeople of the Southern Appalachians. Won’t you consider making a gift and be included among our supporters?

During the past several years individuals have supported the Robert W. Gray Library Collection, the Archives Collection, the Permanent Collection and the Endowment Fund.  The gifts have enabled the Guild to add to the paper and object collections, provide additional support for programming and look to the future with confidence.  As a 501(c)3 non-profit educational organization, the Southern Highland Craft Guild is dedicated to being a good steward of the gifts it receives.

Another important way you can contribute to the Southern Highland Craft Guild is to make your gift for unrestricted purposes.  Gifts to the unrestricted category help the Guild do things that are otherwise not available within our budget.  These gifts may make a difference in the Guild’s ability to provide additional educational programming for an exhibition or event, or acquire a special object for our collection, or to underwrite an exhibition.

The Folk Art Center’s annual visitation is approximately 260,000, where visitors are able to enjoy, free of charge, exhibitions, special events, daily demonstrations and seasonal entertainment. With your help we can continue to improve and expand our educational programming.
