Cranberry Creek Studio

Greg and Carla Filippelli developed a free form style of weaving called random weave in the 1980's. Today their fluid designs and shapes have evolved into functional baskets for homes and sculptural art for the wall. Influenced by their natural surroundings, their work reflects their love of nature and organic forms incorporating hand dyed reeds, fibers and wild vines.

Carla and Greg delight in creating one of a kind baskets and custom pieces for residences and corporate spaces. Custom colors, sizes and shapes are their specialty. They are represented by galleries and exhibitions nationwide. They are available for private lessons and teach group workshops to area school students and craft schools.

Throughout the year, they have an open studion at Cranberry Creek, their business of over 25 years. Open by appointment only, please call ahead to visit their picturesque surroundings nestled in the Bluie Ridge Mountains around Asheville, NC.
