Who wouldn`t want to look down at their hand and see a treasure? I have made rings since 1965. How lucky I have been to spend a lifetime decorating gems and fingers.I worked as a bench jeweler in Washinton, DC. jewelry stores for over thirty years, before going self-employed. Ten years before moving to Weaverville, NC. I was an artist-in-residence at Glen Echo Park. I restored historic pieces for the Natural History Gem Hall at the Smithsonian. Previous president of the Washington Guild of Goldsmiths, and recieved the Maryland State art grant. Designed and fabricated stands for the Faberge egg collection at the Hillwood Museum. Taught metalsmithing at Montgomery College,Md., Touchstone school of the arts,Pa., Md.Inst.College of art (MICA) Balit.,Md. and Longwood College,Va. My work has been in many juried shows and art galleries. Published in; Metalsmith Magazine, The Washington Post, Jewelers Keystone Magazine, The 2007 Who`s Who book, Montgomery Co. Journal, and The Smithsonian magazine. Also featured on The Carol Duval Show and Channel 9 Good News in Washington, DC.
