Starburst pin: Made from wedges of multilayered veneer, these pins are composed of from 300 to 400 individual colorful facets. They are among my most difficult pieces to create; each tiny wedge has to be sanded on five surfaces to fit, often held by only my fingernails. Worn on a solid color blazer or sweater they are captivatingly stunning, and always draw compliments. They are polished to a high lustre. As these are one-of-a-kind items, I sign and date each one. Colors will vary. About 2-1/2" dia.
