Maltese Meditation Hairpin/Broomstick Lace Combo: In this piece I combined both techniques and alternated the colors to reflect the change of light. Hairpin Lace is sometimes called Maltese crochet, so after starting with the hairpin strip I was inspired to start a broomstick pattern and insert beads along the top and then the bottom of the wrap. The sides feature 8 beaded tassels. Finger weave and star stitch are incorporated as well. Made from 4 shades of American Super Luster Pearle cotton, this piece is hand wash and dry flat. Wrap measures 54 x 19" and has a slight flair along the bottom. Heirloom Treasures original
