About this Gallery: These scarves are machine knitted by hand of either 100% Merino Wool or Merino and Silk yarns. Once the cloth is removed from the machine, marbles are bound into the surface of the knitted cloth to create a resist to the felting process. Once the felting is complete the binding threads are removed and the marbles released leaving the sculptural surface of the marble imprinted in the cloth. The resulting scarf is soft and organic in appearance.
