Flutter By: Round and cylindrical seed beads, nylon thread, fabric, polyester batting, wire, polymer clay. This piece was created using stitching techniques created by the artist. Seed beads are stitched to a stuffed fabric form. Wings were made seperately from cylindrical shaped beads and stitched onto the beaded and stuffed hear. A single wire in the top of each wing holds the wing's shape. The base is polymer clay. Flutter By is featured in the book 500 Beaded Objects (2004 Lark Books)
