"The Midieval Chainmail Bikini": The Southern Highland Craft Guild's latest exhibit in the main gallery at the Folk Art Center, Asheville, NC "New Traditions: Wearable Art" 9/11/2010 to 1/15/2011. Ruthie's entry in the exhibit took over 50 hours to create! The straps alone are constructed from over 2222 jump rings in ...sterling silver. Sterling silver wire was coiled by hand, cut with a jeweler's saw, and the bikini was assembled one jump ring at a time.
