| This collection of Ginkgo Biloba leaves are shown in their bright spring green color on a teal to mallard background. Individual compositions of myriad shapes and sizes of real leaves, together with exposure times, make each signed cyanotype print unique. Iridescent silk chiffon 13.5x60", also available in other sizes and colors. This collection of designs on silk are cyanotypes that depict the infinite variety found in nature. To create each blueprint, I sensitize the silk in a darkroom, compose with leaves or drawings on top, then expose the piece to UV light. New colors appear as the silk is washed and dried to stop the photo process. The results are unique signed prints of art-to-wear that come alive when worn. |
