Log Cabin Heirloom Box: Front view of box showing quilted lid. About this Gallery: This box was inspired by the Log Cabin quilt block. The quilt blocks on the lid are inlaid using various woods and framed in walnut. The overall box design uses cherry logs for the box sides in an interlocking manner to give the appearance of a log structure. The walnut lid frame is also beveled slightly to suggest a roof to the log cabin. The dimensions are 10.5 x 6.5 x 4 inches. |
