Windmills All Around Heirloom Chest: Front view of closed chest. About this Gallery: This chest was inspired by the quilt block called Windmills All Around. The 123 pieces of the door quilt pattern are made from birdseye maple, padauk, lacewood and wenge. The tapered sides of the cherry case suggest the shape of old European windmills. Inside the chest are storage areas for necklaces, bracelets, a ring holder and two partitioned drawers with curly maple fronts and walnut handles. The dimensions are 11 x 8.62 x 17.5 inches. |
