Mixed Media Artist

My work uses text and imagery in mixed media compositions that are layered in such a way as to invoke emotional responses in the viewer or wearer of the pieces.

Papers with chemically treated surfaces are used with varying techniques of drawing, painting and printing and then combined with original or altered text and found objects to complete the piece. Photo to the right: Exhibition of the Tai Chi series consisting of seven panels 42" X 42" and fourteen wire/stone figures 18" X 6" performing varying poses.
