Product Description

You'd think this was an old pail from your Gramma's yard!

Sue Grier lives and works right outside Asheville, North Carolina, where she creates these wonderful ceramic items. Her work is "thrown and altered" meaning she throws the main form on a potter's wheel, and then uses various tools, as well as her hands, to alter the shape into what you see before you!

This bucket could be used in a myriad of ways: as a planter; for serving chips or pretzels; holding napkins and silverware--and most of all it's a nifty bit of whimsy to make you smile.

Approximately 8" high (at handle-loop) and 7" wide at opening. Cream and rust-colored glazes.

The copper handle is decorative and not load-bearing, though you can pick the empty bucket up by it. Pottery is food safe, but copper handle should not be put in the microwave or dishwasher.

Artist statement included.
