David Grant lives and works in eastern Tennessee, where he creates pots with an organic and timeless look to them.
His work is high fire stoneware glazed and fired in a homemade wood kiln. He likes to accent his pots with blue or green glass, which you will find on his lids, the tops of his handles, and accenting the sides of his pots in stripes or dots.
On this particular piece David has etched a wild onion motif on both sides of the pitcher.
All his pots are dishwasher and microwave safe.
This rustic pitcher is 8 1/4 in. high, and approx. 5 1/4 in. in diameter at the widest part of its belly.
Artist statement included.
