Ann Gleason is a potter living and creating in Tryon, North Carolina. A Guild member since 2005, Ann's body of work ranges from functional pottery to very sculptural, one-of-a-kind pieces.
Ann uses many forms of surface design in her work, at times painterly, at times textural. This honey pot has a deep, cobalt-blue glaze over incised, diagonal lines; the rim and lid are glazed in a warm, rust color. A notch in the lid makes room for your honey dipper (included), or spoon if you choose to make this a sugar jar.
Approximately 5 1/2 in. tall, and holds 12 oz. Stoneware is dishwasher and microwave safe.
Artist statement included.
