I adopted the label ” THE ADD QUILTER” a few years ago as an introduction to my lectures. It is not because I am ADD (well maybe just a little), but it is because I like to “Alter Designs Differently”. When I see a quilt that I admire in a book or at a show, I imagine what it would look like in different colors, or if the blocks were set differently, or resized, or if the borders or sashings were altered. To me, that is the FUN of quilting and quilting should be FUN! I am not great at kit quilts or block of the month quilts. If I take a class it is because I want to learn a new technique to try somewhere in a fun way.
