Alice Walker is a nationally known batik artist who has shown her wearable art at galleries and juried fine arts and crafts shows throughout the country. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She lives in Floyd County in the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia.
