Alwin Edward Wagener, IV

Alwin Wagener started blacksmithing in 1998. His training began by working for a decorative ironwork business, where he learned the skills of a blacksmith for almost five years. Since then, he has developed his own style and designs. Currently he runs his business, Wagener Forge, in Asheville's thriving River District. Alwin was the resident blacksmith at Warren Wilson College for three years and is an active member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild.
