My pots are a self-portrait and a piece of me goes into each one of them. My designs are cutting edge with craftsmanship that focuses on function
The pots begin as a lump of white stoneware, which I value for its excellent thermal properties for use in cookware. I use a wheel to throw the parts as well as an extruder and slab roller. After the parts are made and trimmed, the assembly creation begins; a time-consuming affair that I enjoy the most.
My work ranges from full dinnerware sets to one of-a kind art pieces. My work is highly attentive to detail, complicated and beautiful, yet down-to-earth, user friendly and functional. Art that you can use on a daily basis, this is the goal that I strive to produce; pots with pizzazz.
