Japanese Indigo
I organically grow Japanese Indigo for printing and dying cotton fabric. The "fresh leaf process" that is Eco-friendly produces light blues from robin egg to turquoise. The photos are in reverse order, first showing the final results of the printed fabric. If your are interested in an environmentally friendly way to create your own blue natural dye, seeds are available from January to April.
