Diannah M. Beauregard

The jeweler in me thrives on my fascination with the world of precious stones and noble metals. Driven by the natural world, my life and work have also been inspired by ancient cultures and traditions.

For the past 23 years I have held a discipline in the art of jewelry design and fabrication. The finished pieces that I produce incorporate a variety of different techniques such as fusion inlay, fabrication, casting and chain making. My designs are original and my custom work often involves working closely with clients. Together we may collaborate on the optimum design for the gemstone that is chosen.

I began my technical training in 1983 at Haywood Community College, in the Production Crafts Program, a nationally recognized school nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina. After graduating in 1986, I continued to challenge my skills with learning new techniques from specialized workshops and personal exploration. Many of these techniques have become the foundation of my work.

I have been a member of the Southern Highlands Craft Guild since 1993. I have also taught jewelry classes at Haywood Community College, Continuing Education Program and am currently working towards expanding my business to once again offer classes in the jewelry arts.
