I weave traditional textile items for the home. My home decor items are woven on floor looms by hand in my studio. I weave a variety of items for the home including cotton rag rugs, table linens, towels in cotton and linen, sofa throws in cotton and overshot coverlets in cotton and wool.

I am a traditional handweaver. My heritage is from Scotland and my ancestors were involved in traditional fiber crafts.
I weave in the traditions of the Appalachians where I live, and I am self taught.
All of my products are created solely by me on hand looms using natural fibers of cotton, linen or wool. I use traditional and historic weaving drafts to create my home décor items.

I weave and sell handwoven rag rugs, sofa throws, towels and table linens.
I also weave Colonial overshot coverlets in either cotton and wool or linen and wool.
These can be woven as blankets, throws or used as wall hangings.

Also I do Historical Reproduction weaving by commission, primarily in 100% linen.

All of my handwoven items are utilitarian in nature and meant to be useful and functional.
My work involves the strategic use of fiber and color as well as meticulous attention to details and technique, such as intricate hemstitching.

I have been weaving for over 30 years and enjoy doing weaving demonstrations and Colonial era re-enactments.
I have received several awards for my work and have been published in Early American Life Magazine.
June 2018 exhibited at invitational gallery exhibition entitled "History Meets the Arts" in Gettysburg PA.
