My passion for color and the magical quality of glass inspires me to create my handmade glass beads. Each bead that I create using the lampworking technique, is an individual work of art. And - when brought together in a finished piece, is a fascinating and beautiful piece to wear.
After working for many years in the corporate world, I found myself longing to explore a more creative way of life as I raised my two children. I took my first glass bead making class in the fall of 1990 with Cindy Jenkins. I haven't looked back since.
Now, after many additional classes and workshops with outstanding artists willing to share their knowledge - and many years of developing my abilities and designs - I am excited to share my work with you.
Working with silver and copper as a complement to my beads continues to challenge my creativity and abilities.
