My newest work is a mix of fine silver and bronze, adding a spice of brightness and color with the warm tones of bronze and the cool elegant tones of silver.
I'm a mix of farmer/artist/teacher, and quite often my jewelry reflects those different parts of my life. Many of my pieces are influenced by the outdoors I spend time in as I tend our cow/calf herd. An awareness of the world around me, including weather and season changes, comes as second nature to me. My background in design shows up in precision and the fine finishes I prefer.
I've worked with fine silver for many years now, adding in touches of color with kilnformed glass or gemstones. The bronze I'm working with now is a fine addition to my silver line, and is a great color mix for those who've traditionally worn only one metal.
