Folk Art Center’s New Shop Manager
Kelly Yost
The Guild welcomes Kelly Yost, the new manager of the shop located in the Folk Art Center. Kelly is originally from Kent, Ohio and graduated from Kent State University. She was employed at Mountain Made, a craft shop in the Grove Arcade in Asheville, where she received "a wonderful introduction to the arts and crafts of the area." Before moving to the mountains in 2017, Kelly resided in South Carolina where she worked in space and facility planning. There she focused primarily on designing healing spaces for health care facilities. She hopes to use her previous work experiences to create a shopping environment that engages our visitors through all their senses.
