Description
Felted landscapes are needle felted (a dry felting technique using barbed needles) onto a pre-felt backing. When the scene is complete the piece is wet felted using a hot soapy water and agitation. The piece will shrink approximately 20% during wet felting. It is rinsed and laid flat to dry and the final step is to steam iron.
The felt is mounted onto acid free mat board with acid free double sided tape.
