“Embracing the Moon” Print

“Embracing the Moon” is an etching, engraving and aquatint printed on Arches rag paper.  Artist Jay Pfeil created this plate after hiking at night and admiring the full moon shining through the trees.  It’s what Jay calls a “mood etching” because it’s not of a particular place- but of a feeling.  She is in the process of printing an edition of 95 signed, hand-wiped and hand-pulled prints.
