Weaver – Corn Shuck Doll

$80.50

Traditional corn shock doll representing a weaver.  Woven swatch is either a scrap from a SHCG weaver or from a vintage coverlet. “Weaving on a loom is the ancient method of interlacing vertical and horizontal threads at a right angle to make cloth, and for this weaver it is also a form of artistic expression.  Intricate patterns can be woven into the cloth, and that cloth is then used for clothing, blankets, rugs and tapestries.”

  • Colors of dress, hair and weaving will vary
  • Made in TN
