Jerry Bennet has been an artist all of his life. His early work included paintings, iron sculpture and music. For the past 19 years, he has specialized in sculptural works in wood. His art has been exhibited in several venues including: Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, Houston, TX; SOFA Chicago; Los Angeles Fine Art Show; Southern Highland Craft Guild, Asheville, NC; Fuller Craft Museum, Brockton, MA; Society for Contemporary Craft, Pittsburgh, PA; Center for Wood in Art, Philadelphia, PA; and most recently, Peabody Essex Museum, Salem MA.
