I am primarily a metalsmith, working with sterling silver and brass, as well as combinations of metal, wood, and found objects. I fabricate hollow forms, and hand cut silhouette imagery and natural shapes. I cast found objects like stag beetles and bird bones, as well as traditional lost wax cast elements.

Modern bronze teardrop studs. Artist Audrey Laine carves these teardrops out of wax, then casts them in solid bronze.
