Description

Elise Delfield uses red clay to make her functional ceramic pieces.  The shapes she create reference budding flowers and the undulating landscape of the Great Smokey Mountains where she lives.  She hand paints each piece, similar to watercolor, reminiscent of flowers, songbirds and butterflies.

Inspired by my garden and natural surroundings, my pottery is formed and decorated with curves and color. I want my pottery to be delightful - to bring a smile to you when you look at it and again when it is used.
