Description

Spalted wood is the early stage of decay caused by excess moisture that causes a fungus thus creating a beautiful design.  After drying, the fungus is stopped and beautiful markings are left.  A hand gouge is used to dimple sides as opposed to sanding it smooth.

  • Keep away from extreme heat
  • Apply mineral oil twice a year(Father’s day and Christmas)
