“My love for ceramic arts began at Indiana University where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in studio art and art history.  I grew up in beautiful southern Indiana and after graduating, moved to Asheville, North Carolina to a job as a studio production potter.  After working seven years for Mangum Pottery, I began my own pottery business in my home studio.  I enjoy working from the home partly because my pots are for the home and I embrace that connection.

Functional pottery is very near and dear to me.  It is a strong thread in our culture dating back to early mountain civilization.  I feel fortunate that I am able to carry on the tradition and beauty of functional pottery.”
