The Folk Art Center opens Attributes in the Focus Gallery
Asheville, NC–The Southern Highland Craft Guild opened its first Focus Gallery exhibition of 2023 on Saturday, February 18. Featuring work by five members of the Southern Highland Craft Guild, the show Attributes is filled with fiber, mixed media, and metal. From colorful woven bird sculptures, whimsical wearables, elaborately woven necklaces, scenic jewelry, and heavily stitched wall hangings, Attributes showcases high contrast colors on different textures in a variety of disciplines.
