Lamb’s Ear Fossil Bowl

The Lambs Ear bowl is made using a technique know as Fossil vitra. In this method a piece of the plant is placed on the kiln shelf with the glass placed over it and fired to 1500F . This imprints a “fossil” of the plant into the glass surface. The rest off The bowl is constructed of alternating strips of glass, placed on edge, then fused
