Carla and Greg Filippelli create fluid forms using the weaving style called random weave. Each piece created has a variety of hand dyed reeds and wild vines, woven into many contemporary shapes and styles, creating both functional and decorative baskets and sculptural weavings for the wall.
Greg and Carla Filippelli developed a free form style of weaving called random weave in the 1980's. Their fluid designs and shapes have evolved into functional baskets and sculptural art for the wall. Influenced by their natural surroundings, their work reflects: love of nature and organic forms using hand dyed reeds, fibers and wild vines.
