I am primarily a metalsmith, working with sterling silver and brass, as well as combinations of metal, wood, and found objects. I fabricate hollow forms, and hand cut silhouette imagery and natural shapes. I cast found objects like stag beetles and bird bones, as well as traditional lost wax cast elements.

Carpenter bee pendant. Carpenter bees burrow into dead wood, bamboo, or structural timbers to build their nests.  Artist Audrey Laine used an actual carpenter bee to made the mold for this pendant, and then cast it in sold bronze or sterling silver.
