“Angelfish” Ceramic Wall Sculpture

Description

Inspired by observation and an enthusiasm for the narrative potential and the need for play. Artist Amy Goldstein-Rice creates these unique Angelfish with different faces, bodies and hair color, but they also hold something unique. The surface is created by  combining textural marks and layers of engobes, slips and underglazes. Her pieces are fired to cone 04 in an electric kiln.
