mountain dulicmers

The Mountain Dulcimer is an American instrument developed by immigrants moving down the Appalachians in the 18th and 19th centuries. Today Mountain Dulcimer music ranges from traditional reels and jigs, to beautiful Celtic aires, and from classical to contemporary compositions. It is played as a solo instrument or in small and large ensembles.
