Starting with Instagram
A FEW INSTAGRAM RESOURCES TO GET YOU STARTED.
- Create an account
- Post bright photos/videos of your work or of you creating!
- The most popular accounts always post specific content (don't post too many photos of your cat unless you want to have a cat account)! This account is for your business, keep the content relevant and specific to your work.
- Find crafters like you that are popular on Instagram by searching for them or finding them on the "Explore" tab. (ie. Search for "glass artist" or "glassblowers" to find popular accounts for inspiration).
- Copy hashtags that popular accounts use and paste them to your posts.
- Follow the people that follow the popular accounts. Click on the popular account's followers and follow as many as you like! *I suggest doing this after you've posted a good many (12-24) posts just to get started.
