Hona Leigh Knudsen moved to Floyd Virginia In 2009 to begin a 3 year apprenticeship with renowned 16 Hands potters Richard Hensley and Donna Polseno, after graduating from West Virginia University where she majored in Ceramics. She now lives in Copper Hill, Virginia as a studio potter. She is currently a member of the Southern Highlands Craft Guild, the Blue Ridge Potters Guild, Round the Mountain, and 16 Hands Studio Tour.
