Although Fine Art Painting was my first passion in the Arts, it didn't give me the freedom to truly express myself. So almost by accident I was introduced to the world of clay. Working with Clay opened up a whole new world for me, by allowing my creativity to expand to worlds in which I could explore forms and textures.

Having been fascinated by wildlife and nature, it was only natural for me to explore these subjects within my work. I am drawn to the less familiar animals. Also having had an extensive Figurative background with Fine Art, this too I incorporate into my subject matter. Plus including a bit of humor with in the text of some sculptures now and then.
