Tumbling Blocks Heirloom Quilt Box

This box was inspired by the classic Tumbling Block quilt pattern. The lid pattern is inlaid using chamfered tiles of wenge, cherry and quarter-sawn maple and framed in sapele. The box legs and handle are designed to look like stacks of blocks made of different wood species. The interior dividers are made from curly maple and sapele.
